Here are my pictures, along with my anecdotes, of my new years eve convention I just went to this weekend. It was awesome. I was trying to get new cosplays to post here, because I think is more fun that way. And boy did I find wonderful new cosplays here!

Sorry if the pictures are too big. I am being lazy, and I didn't feel like cutting them down. They might be huge on my blog. My bad!

Best Jack Skellington EVER! The first time I saw him, I was going through the registration office. I didn't have a change then to get picture. For a while I had to hunt him down, until I would be able to get a picture of him. It was in the dealers room when I "stumbled" across him.

I had to take a picture for my friend (and me 8D), because she and I are crazy about Nightmare Before Christmas. And I knew she would love to see it too.

Best part was that he also recognized me from Nabari (can you guess who I was? XD)

You! You! You, No Face from Spirited Away! Awesome! GIVE ME GOLD!

I didn't really intent to take picture of them. But when another person requested a picture, and they did this pose, I couldn't let the opportunity pass by. Horrible lighting though.

The only reason I took this picture was because they were selling bat wings! It would have been perfect for Miharu. Too bad I don't know any that live close by.

Here it was kind of funny. I was taking random pictures of cosplayers, and this Ciel kept glancing my way every now and then. I was wondering if he recognized me or not when he walks towards me, and requested a picture. That answered my question.

Funnier part was that a little bit afterwards. I see these two girls running, nothing abnormal about that in a con, while I was taking pictures. It was when I hear them yelling "YOITE!" That I knew I should have paid attention to WHERE they were running. One of the girls jumps to glomp me, and starts yelling:

"He is touching me! He is touching me!"

Never mind that I was paralyzed, and my arms were locked under her hug. 

The other girl said, "I don't believe he is touching you..."

"Yeah, he is!"

I just looked at the girl hugging me, and I silently pointed a finger at her head (she knew I was meaning it in a nice way, thought kinda weird how you can threat someone in a nice way). That made her let go of me, and both of them run off giggling. Weird. 

I wanted a picture of Harry and Draco. I almost say to Ron that I didn't want him in the picture. But I can't be mean without provocation... Sucks. 

I couuuld guess where they are from. But I am more amazed at their wigs. Thats got to have lots and lots of gel. 

Kirby! *hugs*

The guy running here, I swear he was stalking me. He kinda recognized me in a way of "You are from that anime I can't remember its name..."

"Yeah, I am." Has no clue.

I was planning for a long time how to steal those fans from her. DRAGONS!

Okay so Ciel again. But this time it was the Circus cosplay, along with Lizzie. There was actually the whole set of the Noak's Arc, but I never got the chance to take pictures of them. 

The Last Unicorn! Oh my, this is a classic. Who can still recognize Amalthea?

This is incredibly funny. This is not the same guy of Spirited Away from my previous picture. It was another one. But this one would stand behind people for a while, until they would notice her. Some of them would get really scared at seeing her.

But let me tell you what happened with this No Face. 

I was with my friend, resting for a while, when I ask him to take a picture of me. Just because I was getting bored. While he was getting the camera ready, I noticed through the reflection of the windows No Face, Kaonashi (just googled it right now XD) standing behind me. When I see my friend pointing the camera a little higher than normal, I knew Kaonashi was standing behind me to appear in the picture too (this is why you can see me kind of smiling in the picture).

My friend takes the picture, laughing his head off. I turn to Kaonashi, and silently wave at her, all shy. Then she started to bend over as if to kiss me. I stared to back away, while she kept leaning more and more. There was a point where I was half off the side of the chair, half on. I figured this scene would be so funny, I will probably end up drawing it too XD. Then she backed away to trick other people. Phew.

Few minutes later, she comes back to offer me gold. She kept saying "You know you want it." I made as it of to take the gold, but end up just pocking her face. She goes all, "Awww. How about a smooch then?" Wait, what?

But I figured, well, why not? I moved as it to kiss her, but she totally didn't see this one coming. She stood there paralyzed for a few seconds, enough for me to back away and laugh. And, wouldn't THAT be a weird picture too? XD

Er... I got bored again while waiting for the last panel XD

This is all! Of course I took more pictures than this, but this are my main ones really. The second day I went just all victorian, and, weirdly, people still thought I was from Kuroshitsuji. 

It was really fun being Yoite that day. I didn't get proposed for marriage (thanks god), but I did get poked around for a while. Someone was trying to be the target of my wrath! I got glomped, a lot. I got complimented about my eyes (I still don't know what to think about that one, because they are contacts o.0), and was asked for pictures more than I actually thought I would. Seems Nabari is getting more and more known I guess. Yay!

And, finally, I am done!

I am back! And some Sebastian cosplay pictures

So, sorry for the disappearance for a couple of weeks. They have been very hectic weeks, full of stress, screams, threats, and all that fun stuff...

Okay the real thing is that I had my hands full because for Halloween. Helping a friend finish the final details of her Alice costume, doing the petticoat, the bow with skull at the back, helping her find the stockings, etc, etc.

Then on Halloween, at the "Fall Fest" (I hate how they never call them Halloween parties anymore, because it's not "Politically correct" BS I tell ya...) my dear neighbors were nice enough to volunteer me to do the face painting for the kids. So I spend the WHOLE time painting faces of the kids there. And some weird requested at that. There was one girl who wanted a high heel shoe on her face. Another one who wanted like smeared mascara running down her cheeks. Then some boys wanted zombies, and vampires, and who the heck they think I am?! Michelangelo? Pffff...

With all this finally out of the way, I was informed that I had a exam scheduled with only two weeks to prepare for it. Of course I panicked, and started studying like crazy. Some people were nice enough to tell me not to worry too much about it, because nobody passes at the first try anyway. How encouraging, right? But my mind was set up, and I wanted to have that exam out of the way on the first try. I pretty much beat myself with studying for this one. I was a total wreck by the time the exam came, but I PASSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED! I was so happy, I couldn't stop smiling the whole day (my cheeks still hurt from that, ouch...). My family gave me some money as a reward for passing this test, and what did I do?

TO THE ANIME SHOP!

I asked a friend to take me there, because I wanted to buy some mangas and novels as congratulations to me. I was browsing through the bookshelf, when we come up to the 'yaoi section,' and all the books are covered in plastic.

I point it out, saying. "Look. Now all the books are in plastic covers."

"You know what that means." My friends says, looking at some shirts and stuff.

Smirk. "Yes..."

Then this girl, who was right next to me, looks at me and says. "Have you ever watched Hentai?"

"No." I answered. Because it was true, I never really watched heterosexual hentai at least...

But she seems to have gotten that too, because then she said. "Or any kind of hentai... It is pretty funny, because on the scenes they-"

"YES." I interrupt, amazed that this stranger would start talking about hentai out lout like that. "They are pretty funny. Pretty funny indeed." I was NOT going to start discussing sex scenes with my friend right next to me. What the heck was this girl thinking...? I know I was somewhat rude, but COME ON! Did I look like I wanted to say what I have seen?! It is one of those things that you know you have done it, but you never say exactly what is this that you have done (XD). I rapidly went to see the other merchandise, waiting for the girl to leave. So I could go back and browse at better leisure the titles of the books.

It is still embarrassing to think about it today....

Now that I had the time, I can finally take and post pictures of my Sebastian cosplay! I had a somewhat rude encounter with my family today, so I was not in such a good mood taking pictures. But hopefully they are okay... The lighting was not as good either, so I don't look as pale as I hoped. Not that I can look that pale unfortunately... Unless I bleached my skin or something *shivers*.

Here they are! Though I still don't think I do a good Sebastian, but whatever...

The typical ninja silverware attack! XD Somehow I wish I had a bigger knives... More fun that way I suppose.

I think I will need to rearrange the wig to be a little bit shorter. It seems to be too long to be for Sebastian cosplay. For Yoite too, but it's easier to hide it with the cap. 

Here is me looking at my pocket-watch. Yes, it is the Phantomhive pocket-watch. A friend got it for me as a Christmas present *grins*.

Like I said before, I was not entirely too happy at the moment, or else I would have made the expression a little diabolical or something. Like the smirk that Sebastian usually does... Yeah...

And final picture! I actually had more, but they are not really good. Okay fine, I never ever, ever, will like my pictures, but I did promise...

That is all for today! I am working right now on the next chapter of my fanfic, so hopefully it will be coming up pretty soon. Finally, with the little free time I have for now, I can also work on the translation and editing of the final chapters of Nabari too. Yaaaay!

Ciel Cosplay

While STILL waiting for my video to be uploaded on YouTube... I decided to have fun, and finally take pictures of (more or less) how my original Ciel was supposed to look with the coat I recently got on mail...

Unfortunately I make a terrible Ciel, because: 1. I am not petit, no matter how much I (don't) want to be. 2. I am not pale, and my perfectionism just can't get over that. I am tanned, and I have to accept that I will be this way no matter what. Unless of course I decide to go Michael Jackson, and completely bleach my skin. But that is just plain creepy...

So here it is... The pictures, again, completely make the intricate details of the cosplay disappear in that blurriness of black. I tried using again that grey vest to see if I could make the jewelry I am wearing more noticeable, but you can still barely see it... Darn.

I just love the coat XD

You can kinda sorta see the pins I am wearing, but still you can't see very good the details. That is just plain annoying! Same thing with the bow I have in my neck. You can barely see the red gem it has in the middle...

I hate my profile pictures, so I am still wondering why I put this one...

Lighting was not good today, so the pictures are not good either. I am not a professional photographer, but, crap, how I wish I were one XD

I also kind of noticed that you couldn't see if I was wearing pants or shorts (but being Ciel, of course I had to wear shorts), so this is more of an overview to prove I am indeed wearing shorts!

I hate shorts... Egh, those knees...

And that is all! The other pictures were just crap, so very few turned out kind of okay... What I do have noticed that Ciel is not Ciel when Sebastian is not there as his shadow. Something that I noticed at cons and roleplaying and stuff. It is my belief that to make a convincing Ciel, you need your shadow XD

I NEED MY SHADOW!!! Pffft...

Black Butler Photoshoot 2010

WOW!

I never thought it would take me a whoooooole year to post my pictures from my first con... Which happened... On June 2010 (epic fail right here folks).

These are pictures that I took from a Black Butler Photoshoot that happened at OMG2010. The people were crazy and really funny to hand around (if only for the photoshoot *foreveralone*). The cosplay was amazing, and I was crazily taking pictures of everything that was happening there XD

This is a group picture. I keep laughing at the face Ciel (in the dress) was giving to Sebastian. Kind of like "I am about to be raepd!!!"

The Grell on the right was an awesome cosplayer. She did the voice perfectly, and really was able to captivate how Grell is with Sebastian (really, like, sometimes TOO much....)

This is Grell's fantasy. Pfff, like Sebastian would ever do that on his own free will XD

Sebastian/Sebastian pairing? I know he likes himself and all, but this is quite narcissistic of him. But then, he is a demon. You never know with demons nowadays...

I loved the cosplay of the Undertaker. So I had to put one solo of him. It was really well done, and I loved it.

Kinda suiting... In a very, very twisted, never happening, who would ever think it, kind of way...

I hope I get to post pictures soon of this convention, and the convention I went afterwards... Just keep your fingers crossed, and hope I don't forget it... It tends to... Slip my mind it seems... For months...

New Victorian Yoite Cosplay

Okay, so I got tired of not dressing up, and decided to cosplay Yoite with some clothes put together to make it look a little like they come from the Victorian era...

Kind of weird how some touches here and there from normal clothes and cosplay clothes make such a difference in the image you want to portray XD

Oh! I almost forgot. I am on my way of getting this beautiful (absolutely beauuuuutiful!) Victorian coat, hopefully a little before my con coming on August. If I do get it with enough time before the con, I will try to take pictures as soon as I can. Otherwise we will have to wait until the con has passed, things have settled down, and I am ready to take pictures again XD

A little close up (that is as much close up you might ever get from me. Considering my very low-self esteem and dislike for my face XD) of my... What? Made up, cosplay? I suppose...

I am using a normal vest, jacket, pants. The shirt, boots, gloves, corset, bow, and hat come from my cosplay clothes. Like I said, a little touch here and there, and your normal clothes look like from a different point in time! XD

Position hurt like you have no idea, but I wanted a photo with my boots, darnit! I looooove this boots. Too bad I don't have a lot of cosplays to use this boots with, but hopefully soon enough I will! (Y U NO HERE COAT!)

A pose with a little less... Flair I suppose... I kind of like it. Too bad the light that day absolutely sucked... I really need to get those... Things that the photographers use to get good lighting effect. Is a MUST.

And an overview of my made up cosplay! It might be something I use for the con that is coming up for me in August. That is, if my victorian coat does not arrive by then (*crossing fingers*). If it does, then I will switch the wig for my Ciel wig, and use this to cosplay Ciel XD. Shorts are a big no, no for me...

And this is all for today! Gosh, I miss those days when I had something of importance to say about Nabari. I think I will start digging up here and there, to see if there is something new to tell about this wonderful series... If not, then I will continue on on keeping it alive! Nabari no Ou FTW! Mm... I do probably need to lower down on the sugar now...

Where to find Yoite's Hat

Because I have had several people asking where I got my hat, I decided to give you some places of where you can go and buy it. Unfortunately in the website where I got mine my particular hat disappeared, so I cannot give you that link anymore. But I searched other places where you can find it now.

Let me tell you this right now though. The hat is not cheap. So do not be expecting to get it for less than $10 (not even less than $20 >_<).

What you are looking for (if you are a perfectionist like me 8D) is a Newsboy Cap Camel color.

If you are one of those people who hate buying stuff on Internet (like me, I haaaaaate the wait DX), the best moment to get it is before winter in any clothing store. Seriously, I found it EVERYWHERE. If nobody had stopped me there, I would have gotten myself like 5 or 6 caps exactly the same just 'cause it was Yoite's hat XD (so yeah, I just got two now...).

New Yoite Cosplay Pictures

Finally, FINALLY, FINAAAAAALLYYYYY IS HERE!!!!!

After years (and yeah, it has been years) of fruitless searching, I have found the perfect (ABSOLUTE PERFECT!) Yoite coat! And now I have it here!! In my hands!!! Can't stop my excitement, can you tell? XD

Of course I couldn't stop myself from taking new pictures of the cosplay! I can now really move on unto different cosplays for my collection, I am so haaaaaappyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

And yeah, I can't forgive myself for finishing Ciel's cosplay before Yoite, but I really wanted to have the perfect coat for it T^T

So, this is a picture I took a little while before the coat. I think that this is my hair before I got the wig. Oh yes, I got a wig now because I got tired of getting mad at the hairdressers for not GETTING IT RIGHT, DAMMIT!

Not a fan of close-ups, but this is finally a picture of my wig. I have to make some trimmings, but I am happy now that I don't have to get frustrated over getting my hair cut.

Yeah, it got a lot to do that I have no confidence on myself, WHATSOEVER! But maybe in other tryouts of taking pictures, I might put some more on here, yaaaay!

Cosplay Friday

his friday the anime group that I am part of had a reunion called "Cosplay Friday." Knowing that it was about cosplay, of course I went that day yay! I arrived a little late (my bad), but I had lots of fun. We got (more like Ashke) to eat, watch an episode of... Well... Can't remember the name *shrugs,* and discuss about how to set up cosplay and stuff.

Unfortunately like 6 people out of the 15 actually dressed up for the event, but who cares? I got to put on my costume! =D

I was starting to miss dressing up as Yoite XD

After we left, I took the opportunity of taking some pictures to share with you all! I don't think I have shown the whole set up now almost finished. The only thing I am missing now is the scarf (soon though!) and the contact lenses. Christmas is coming though! And I know exactly what to ask for...

As you can see, my hair is getting too long now! I will have to wait for the next anime convention thingy to be able to cut my hair Yoite short.

Here is showing the KIRA!!! A peek of how Yoite looked at his last moments in the manga. I supposed that this is also how Yoite looked in the anime too in episode 26. There aren't any shots to prove it though.

And finally the hands! Must admit that they looked kinda creepy. I totally understand why Yoite freaked out with the black thingy in his/her hands. Took forever to put on! Messed up my clothes, and it takes so little time to take off. Talking about unfair.

Yoite's Gloves

I guess this post is going to be a quicky one... so...

I finally found the gloooooooves! It was so unexpected that I am pretty sure I stared at the gloves for like a minute without moving. A friend got worried thinking that I fell asleep with my eyes open or something. Then I threw myself to the wall (yes, I actually did), and got the gloves as soon as possible. To discover them so cheap as for 3 dollars was a big bonus for me...

Here is a small picture to show them to you all. My god, that I got them my size and in the right color. Me so lucky!

My next challenge of course its going to be the color contact lenses and the scar tissue. Yes, I getting the whole set for the perfect Yoite cosplay!

Anyway! In another news! I GOT THE DVD OF KUROSHITSUJI!!! Yes, it is sent from Malaysia, but who cares? It's miiiiiiiineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Me: *hugs Sebastian*

Sebastian: *glares*

Me: Meep! Don't kill me! *runs away*

Common Sence: Have you gotten the DVD's for Nabari no Ou?

Me: Are you kidding me? That set is like for 50 bucks! Those people are thieves for putting half the season for 50 bucks! A whole season of Kyo Kara Maoh is less than that!

CS: But this is Nabari no Ou.

Me: Well... Yeah...

CS: And you want to hear Yoite's voice in English.

Me: No. I want to hear Yoite's voice in English to complain how bad it is for Yoite.

CS: Then why didn't you get it?

Me: *pokes fingers* I am kinda waiting for the whole season together...

CS: And pathetically sigh when passing by it in the store.

Me: *points finger*...... DANG. I wish I knew Kira...

Reflections and some Yoite Cosplay Pictures

I have always been complaining, since I moved to this new city, that I needed new friends. I pretty much have no one to talk to (besides my friend) about the things like anime and manga. I tried with my childhood friends, but they kind of brushed me off. Decided that instead of Nabari no Ou (for example) they rather wash Hetalia (which I really don't mind) and read shoujo (which I actually DO mind). I insisted and insisted, but my words just fell on deaf ears so to speak.

A couple of days ago I decided to join a manga/anime group that gathers here in the city. I was actually very excited to finally take part of a group like this, and also motivated to go to the meetings and participate in whatever is that they do. So I signed me up (besides my unlucky friend, I needed a ride after all XD) to one of these meetings this weekend, to see what they do.

I went, I saw... and I was pathetic (and I do mean me).

I must be the most shy person ever to live on this planet it seems. After a little reflection I realized that in all my career at the University I pretty much only made two friends (who actually started to speak to me very suddenly, and freaked me out).

I must be like a small wild creature where, if you are too bold, it will just freak out and ran off. Am I even human?

Back to the meeting. I went there and I realized that I couldn't gather the courage to talk to these people (and it was easy to tell who they were). It was happening on a tea house, so we pretty much went there, bough some tea (yummy), talked for a while and left. Must admit that we ears-dropped on their conversations (something that we are not proud of but are rather good at it), and saw that it was interesting and entertaining to participate.

IF ONLY I COULD TALK TO THEM!

It was so pathetic that my friend went and bought me a Ramune to cheer me up (double yummy! now I'm collecting them XP). Pathetic commoner me that couldn't talk to people, and has complained of having no friends at all (now I'm actually seeing the common factor here).

But! To cheer me up a little, I went and dressed up yay! The next day I prepared everything that I had so far, and went up to take pictures (it was sooo embarrasing). It was kind of rushed, so my hairstyle could have been better. Main point here was my clothes not my hair okay? So la la la la... Here they are!

It took me a couple of trials to get this one. I was either or too far to the left, or too far to the right, not the right position, too close, too far, etc. I was taking the pictures by myself, so it was pretty frustrating. But ta-da!

Okay, must admit that I had to beg for help on this one. I had no shoes, and I didn't want to take a picture where my feet would show. But now it's... A black thing with a hat...

Further note here. It is a extremely comfortable position o_O. Kinda feels like the saying "out of sight, out of mind."

I want my glooooves. It took me a couple of minutes to decide if I wanted to make this position or not. Remembering that Yoite sometimes appeared without gloves, I really saw no problem then. Yet... Damnit! Stupid light doesn't show off the COOLNESS of my trench coat.

This one makes me remember the scene where we are introduced to Raikou and Gau and yadda yadda (everyone else). Once again, the hat makes it reaaaally easy not to have eye contact. It kinda makes a comfort zone that follows you everywhere. Not a good thing for shy people.

And a close up for the coat! Once again... STUPID LIGHT! GAH!
